NEWBREED is a one day tournament. On Friday March 10th there will be weigh-ins and competitor registration from 5 pm - 7 pm. The actual competition takes place on Saturday March 11th. Doors open at 8 am. Competitors can also register and weigh-in on Saturday the day of the event.

NOTE: These are estimated times. You must be present 90 minutes prior to your estimated start time below in case there are ring changes
IMPORTANT: Youth & Teen competitors must be registered prior to 9:00 AM cut-off or they will not be allowed to compete. Adult registration opens at 10:00 AM. This does not mean that you have to register at 10:00AM...it is not mandatory. Registration for adults is open all day. Please read the below notes for full details.
ADULTS: If you want to weigh in at 10:00 AM and then leave, you are welcome to do so as long as you are present 90 minutes prior to your estimated start time below. This will alleviate your wait time and shorten your day. You can also just register and/or weigh in 90 minutes prior to your estimated start time below. There is a possibility that the tournament will not be over until 7:00 PM or later. Keep in mind that you are not required to be present until 90 minutes prior to your estimated start time.
Example 1: You registered for both the Men's No Gi (estimated start time 4-5 pm) and Men's Gi (estimated start time 5 pm). You have to be present at 2:30 PM for your No-Gi division and then you will have to wait for your Gi division. You can actually show up at the tournament at 2:30 PM. You do not need to come in at 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM and be present all day.
Example 2: You registered for the Men's Gi (estimated start time 5 pm) division only. You can actually show up at the tournament at 3:30 PM. You do not need to come in at 8:00 AM or 10:00 AM and be present all day.
5:00PM - 7:00PM: Weigh-ins and registration at the venue.
8:00 AM: Doors open.
8:00 - 9:00 AM: Youth and Teen registration & weigh-ins.
10:00 AM - 3:30 PM: Adult registration & weigh-ins.
10:00 AM - 11:00 AM: Morning announcements and rules overview.
Start Time 11:00 AM: Youth Divisions (No-Gi first then Gi)
Estimated start time Between 1:00 pm & 2:00 PM: Teen Divisions (No-Gi first then Gi)
Estimated start time Between 2:00 PM & 3:00 PM: Women's (18+ yrs) Divisions (No-Gi first then Gi)
Estimated start time Between 2:00 PM & 3:00 PM: Menís No-Gi Advanced Absolute
Estimated start time Between 3:00 PM & 4:00 PM: Executives (30-39 yrs) Masters (40+ yrs) Divisions (No-Gi first then Gi)
Estimated start time Between 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM: All menís No-Gi and Gi Divisions.
Bronze, Silver and Gold custom NEWBREED Medal will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners.
Competitors 17 years and under that place 1st in any Advanced No-Gi or Gi division will receive the Extra Large Custom ADVANCED DIVISON Medal.
NEW Custom NEWBREED Advanced Champion Belts will be awarded to all 1st place winners 18 and over in the No-Gi Advanced divisions and Purple, Brown & Black belt Gi divisions. Only one belt per competitor will be awarded at each event.
Tournament Team winners that place first in both the youth and adult
divisions will be awarded a Beautiful Large Trophy. Trophies may vary
depending on the event but they are always of the highest quality.
Custom banners will also be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Team Winners in both the Youth and Adult divisions.
